About Us

Polarbear Manufacturing Inc Is a R&D design and manufacturing company founded by Les Hulicsko in 2016. Mr Hulicsko received his Engineering Degree at the Polytechnic of Miskolc in Hungary in 1955. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he settled in Regina, Saskatchewan.
In 1968 he established his first manufacturing company, Rite Way Mfg Co Ltd. His first successful product was the hydraulically driven rock picker. This became the most popular rock picker in the world and still is to this day!

He then went on to found Sweeprite Mfg Co Ltd in 1978 where he designed a totally hydraulically driven street sweeper. It now remains the industry standard street seeping machine.

In 1986 he founded Patchrite Mfg Co Ltd. The main product created was a single person operated pot hole patching machine that was sold world wide. Another popular product he designed was a hydraulic farm combine harvester.

In 2014 he sold all of these companies to enjoy retirement.

in 2016 he decided to come out of retirement and founded Polarbear Mfg Inc. He is now heavily involved in electric vehicle and equipment research and design.
